write about chase bank as a whole Industry growth: Rate of growth in percentage terms (increase in industry sales averaged for five-year period). Where is the industry in the life cycle - emerging, rapid growth, maturity, decline?
Chase bank is one of the oldest Bank of United States and it has merged with JP Morgan so it is known as JP Morgan Chase Bank so the growth rate of the industry has been called sluggish in past year, and specially past quarter due to unfolding of the coronavirus and it can be seen that the quarter on quarter decrease has been around 20% in the overall profits and the net loans provided to the industry so it has been shrinking due to expectations of slowdown.
Overall industrial growth for JP Morgan Chase in last 5 years has been around 12% when compared to the industry growth of 10% so it has been outperforming the industrial expectations in the past 5 years and it can be reflected into the share price of the company which has been on a continuous upside in past 5 years.
Sales growth has been also phenomenal and it has been continuously increasing in the the double digit figure.
This is a 200 years old bank and I think that this bank is is adequately categorised as a mature bank of the industry because this has been in the business since very long and this has gone through growth and introduction cycle and this is surviving through the mature cycle of the business.
