Hello!

If you have ever heard or known the concept of group studies or combined studies or peer studies it will be easier for you to understand what is learning community .

Basically LEARNING COMMUNITY are smaller groups of students who might have opted for a similar subject or course as it becomes easy for them to study as everyone will have the common topic and interests hence making it easy for a group of students to either work on assignments ,projects etc. some times these groups are not just restricted to one specific course or topic we see a lot of students in a group who are trying for internship etc who some times live together and work together to find an internship etc. some times these community groups help a particular community read learn and sometimes there are students in a group who are travelling to various places to so red awareness or conduct classes for the unprivileged. For a better understanding I will provide you an example when I was back in college our professor would choose a few students who require some extra help in learning a specific subject she would group a few under a specific student and students would help students learn better even that was peer group teaching for us exactly like that there were a few schools which taught students of a specific community even there we could see an individual of the same community teach students if the same community who sometimes did not have access to education . It according to me also provides a better understanding of the community , the course, the peers.

I also feel it is sometimes very effective as this can be liked by many students rather than a boring lecture in class room with different subject and people.

Thankyou, hope this helped!
