Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your immediate attention about something which is a dire need of the hour.

In the wake of urbanization and globalization , people are engrossed in their professional life ,leading a sedentary lifestyle. Awareness about health enlightens an individual to rise up and follow a hale and hearty lifestyle.

In this fast paced moving world, we are currently witnessing a pandemic which has detrimental effects on the entire human race. The Science and Technology which has reached heights could not find a permanent solution , till date .Isn’t it shocking that a minor proportion of the population is still not aware of the precautionary measures to be taken so as to escape this deadly virus. It is not because of the lack of reach of media , but because of lack the instinct to accept the guidelines formulated by the government .There lies the need of educating people about health when they pursue under graduation .

I am stressing about ‘under graduation’ as students reach a maturing age ,by the time they join college .There are umpteen number of advantages a student can enjoy in his lifetime by selecting Health science ,during the college years. Health science moulds an individual to take up leadership and tackle situations when a pandemic , like corona arises. They will be well equipped to analyze and decipher facts from previous case dealings and bring into force , certain steps proved by science in earlier phase.The disease trends can be identified easily resulting in proper formulation of steps to eradicate a viral outbreak.

I am very sure that at least few students will be lured by the possibilities of having a sound knowledge regarding health science and they may even take it as their major for Post graduation.

As widely expected , Health science graduates need not necessarily work directly with patients. The added benefit is that ,they can also take up their career in science writing, health care analysing, and biomedical illustration. This degree also paves way for career in health administration. Health Science offer a strong foundation for those who love science. This subject will also fetch a career that gives a good salary. Health Science graduates will have excellent job prospects over other degree holders.

Last but not the least , in the ongoing pandemic situation ,the entire world is in need of Health Science experts. I am well aware that each person working in the health industry is like a feather to the cap of each nation .I am also fortunate to see the sense of gratitude in the eyes of people who recovered from Corona .This joy of being a beacon of hope to patients, overwhelms me is something unmatched to anything the materialistic world can buy.

I would like to take this opportunity to light a constant fire in the minds of young individuals to opt for Health Science and contribute to the well being of the world.
