OVERVIEW OF THE CASE STUDY:

Conformity means changing of behaviour or opinion in order to match with large number of people . Individually he doesn't put on his own opinion rather than he agree with majority opinion.Solomon Elliot Asch's is a social psychologist who has made several expriment and case study regarding conformity and stigma which is affected by social pressure. Asch's used lab expriment to study of confirmity and stigma where by 50 male students from Swarthmore college in the U.S.A participated in "vision test".Asch concurred with seven Confederates that he will show to them two cards .The right cards show three vertical line and left one is included only one line.And then he will asked them which one is right vertical line with same length another vertical line at the left.Asch agreed with seven participant about responce that they should answer . Asch choose eighth persons to be his sinjecs in his Experiment.The subject didn't know about this agreement and he thoughts that all the Confederates are real participent.

Result:

Asch measured the number of time each participant confromed to the majority view .on average on third of the participant who were placed in this situation went along and confirmed with the clearly incorrect majority on the critical trail.over the 12 critical trail , about the 75% participent confirm gives atleas once once incorrect answer and 25% participent consistently defined majority opinion.in controll group , no pressure group made mistake less than 1%.

CONCLUSION :From the a above discussion they are mamainly choose conformity for following reason...

The tendency of confirm the answer for gaining social aceptance but in informational influennce, the desire to obtain usseful answer through confirmity and achieve correct result.

1. Mostly people are not dare to explore the own views due to lack of confidence and influennce by the group opinion.

2. Conformity is major reason for human behaiour to believe in prejudice ,social stigma because they are acept conventional way and doesn't think rationally.

3. They have very few one who tendency to accept the truth and learned from mistake .

4. They are always compare own views or answer with other which resist him.

5. Some people show irresistible and unstable behaiour due to conformity . Because they are not stick in their knowledgee and easily influennce by others .
