Consider this statement: “The aim of classroom management is to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.” Explain the ways in which teachers manage their classrooms (consider citing some of the theories that inform how teachers manage their classrooms and provide specific examples).
A positive and productive learning system can be maintained only and only if needs of students are met in a positive manner. There should be a deep understanding between teacher and students. This is very much important for understanding the real gist of spoken and unspoken words.
Teacher should not judge his/her students. Each student is different with different capabilities. Learning should be promoted not only through limited mediums. Various activities should also be organized in classroom so that involvement of students can be enhanced.
A two way communication must take place in classroom. Exchange of dialogues is must for developing a deeper sense of understanding. Students should be promoted to make suitable and appropriate decisions.
They should be motivated to take calculated risks. It enables them to come to know about their weaknesses and strengths. A trust factor must exist in classroom. Teacher should always try to ignite intrinsic motivation in students.
It enables them to utilize their skills with their full potential. Any query should be replied back with a sense of positivity. Hard work must be recognized and praised. It motivates students to perform with their level best efficiencies.
