There are many different security certifications that are available for the IT user. Which security certification do you think is the most important to take first, and why? Would you rather take a course or do self-study to prepare for the certification exam? Explain your answer.
Solution
: Yes, There are many different security
certifications that are available for the IT user. But, It totally
depends upon the capabilities and capacity of the user which
certifications an IT user must take. But, as you are asking to take
first, I would advise this security certification :
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Security Fundamentals : This certification is the most basic and entry-level in nature because it covers the entry-level fundamentals knowledge, which is helpful in making the basic knowledge of network and software security strong. It makes the users aware of the core security principles as well as the fundamental concepts of the operating systems. After taking this certification, naive or newbie users will be able to understand the basic working concept of the operating systems as well as the importance and usefulness of maintaining the network and software security in the IT.
Question : Would you rather take a course or do self-study to prepare for the certification exam?
Answer : It also depends on two factors :
(A) If a user has time constraint ( and no budget constraint ), then the user must take the course to prepare for the certification exam because it will save the time of the user a lot, which a user can utilize in learning other security certifications.
(B) But If a user has budget constraint ( and no time constraint ), then a user must do self-study to prepare for the certification exam because it will save the money of the user as well as it will help in making the user more independent.
