If we look at this year it is the year of giving new meaning to human experiments.

The year had started as usual with everything as usual. We had our daily routines and there was no sign of any untoward happening.

The political scenario of the US was presenting the same scenario with debates on the TV shows of the president and the opposition parties,

The work changed suddenly when the news started coming out from China that a new type of virus has attacked a human being. It attacks the respiratory organs and the infected person dies. As the reason for the death was not known the mortality rates were higher and to hide the fact no true report came was published.

The people from China moved into the world with the virus and infected many people. As the symptoms do not appear immediately the magnitude of the effect was not anticipated.

It can be called human hunger for power, China claimed that it was experimenting with the virus and the virus escaped from the laboratory and infected Wuhan city market and spread from man to man. In the initial stages how people are getting infected were not known, but a Chinese doctor  Li Wenliang suspected that the disease is spreading from man to man, he was silenced and said not to spread rumors. The doctors in the initial stages were not provided with safety kits many medical people got infected doctor Li Wenliang a young doctor who had warned the authority died in February with the same disease.

The disease took the shape of the pandemic and WHO announced that it requires immediate action to be taken by all the countries in the world by imposing lockdown in the countries. The education system was closed. The entertainment centers were closed; there were no religious congregations to take place. No prayers were allowed in churches and mosques.

The advanced countries found themselves helpless and unable to fight the disease, Italy was completely shattered with mounting death. The spread of the pandemic in Italy was due to the workers coming back to Italy after a vacation from China. Till this time there was no restriction imposed on the international flights it got spread from one place to another. The football match was another cause of the spread of the disease in Italy.

It was done with purpose or without purpose is a mystery because China, where the disease initiated, is free from it and the other part of the world is still struggling with it, the education and health system are badly affected.

It has affected the economy of the country. The poor people who were earning on the daily basis in poor countries were mad to starve the poor and inhuman attitude of the government made many people walk thousands of miles to their native place and many died not due to the diseases called COVID19 but out of starvation, thirst, and accidents. We have witnessed these on our TV channels.

The positive effect of this pandemic is that the people stayed at home. The parents and children were together for 24 hours. The interaction between parents and children increased. People were distanced but together through the internet.

We became more cautious with our health. Scientists got busy searching for the vaccination. The symptoms are similar to pneumonia but it is severe and in certain cases, the symptoms entirely differ from the prescribed symptoms. People started doing exercises and took care of their eating and tried to include those foods that can increase immunity. Children started learning new skills. For the first time, children did those things that they had never imagined that they would ever do. They abstain from alcohol, drugs, smoking, and social gatherings.

This generation for the first time got frightened of the unexpected and untimely death.

To solve the problem the education system took the help of online teaching it gave new experiences to the children.

Now in the US the schools are going to open and by fall all the states will reopen the schools it is presumed and the physical presence of children is required for attendance.

This year had given new experience and taught humanity a lesson, that all the inventions and experiments are not useful. The government should not indulge in producing the weapon of mass destruction, nor use the virus as a weapon in place of nuclear weapons to attack enemies.

It was a rumor on social media that China has experimented with this virus that instead of using nuclear weapon virus can be used as a weapon without even enemies suspecting it. They forgot there is the law of nature that says those who dig a pit for others, often fall in themselves.

This is the year that showed COVID 19 a disease spread by an unseen virus that has affected the whole world.
