The first group of Puritans settlers were led by John Endecott & aslo started to begin settlement Salem, Massaachusetts & changed the name of the company to Massachusetts Bay Company Another group with 1000 puritans & 15 ships came for settlement & John Winthrop became the governer of Puritan colony & started building small villages around the main town. of Boston.
