Reflect on your college experience. Use the following questions to write your reflection: What are your goals? When did you decide to go to college? Why did you choose this college? Who is paying for your education? Is this your first time in college? IF you are older than 20, why did you delay going to college? What difficulties are you experiencing? How is college like what you expected it to be; how is it different? What conditions would make college a better experience for you??

My goals are to pursue an academic career in psychology which involves teaching and research in the field of psychology. I decided to go to college when was about 18 years of age and had just finished my 12th grade. I chose a well known college in my city, i chose this college as the psychology program was well renowned in this college and the faculty was also very good. My parents paid my tuition fees at college, and it was my first time at college. I experienced very few difficulties early on, as the transition from school to college was fairly smooth. The only issue i faced was that i had no ready made notes and had to make my own notes through various sources. I expected college to be like school where everything is bound by rules and regulations, but it turned to be very flexible and encouraged creativity. I think, more practical experience of psychology will help me relate to the field even better.
