What are the macroeconomic factors sensitive to the healthcare industry ?
A sharp rise in spending is one of the health-care system 's problems in Iran. Every macroeconomic variable affects health and will result in higher macro-budgets if disregarded. Based on macroeconomic conditions and business cycles (boom and recession), physical and mental health and the use of health services change.
Macroeconomic variables including national income, national spending, national capital formation, general price level (inflation), employment rate, unemployment rate, budget deficits (BDs), foreign debt, boom, and recession affect components of health care. One of the psychological costs of inflation is the formation of uncertainty. High inflation is upsetting economic estimates. Unpredictable fluctuations in policy decisions and inflation confuse private agents with inadequate knowledge on decision-making against the policy, generate confusion among the actors in society and reduce health
Every macroeconomic variable affects health, and if those variables are overlooked, the result will be the distribution of the country's macroeconomic budgets and unrealized goals. The economic sector policy making in society directly affects the national health limitation or development. Since the government is responsible for the overall responsibility of a country's health system, the precise and responsible management of public health in a country is the essence of a good and effective government.
