Throughout this chapter, you were encouraged to take control of your life and establish your own definition of success. This chapter has a strong “all development is self development” theme. Can we really control our own destinies? Can we always make our own choices? Mike Hernacki, author of The Ultimate secret of getting absolutely everything you want, says yes: to get what you want, you must recognize something that at first may be difficult, even painful to look at. You must recognize that you alone are the source of all the conditions and situations in your life. You must recognize that whatever your world looks like right now, you alone have caused it to look that way. The state of your health, your finances, your personal relationships, your professional life, all of it is you're doing, yours and no one else's.

Can we really control our own destinies?

  • Yes, destinies can be controlled if the one can be disciplined and focused to life goals (both short and long term). As per Mike Hernacki, author of The Ultimate secret, the focus will take you to the dreams and dreams will encourage you for the imagination of what you wants. As per book, the nature is you’re respectful to us and it always gives us what we demands. Mike has done many research on this before giving the statement. The imagination is the power which can give all desires to you. The deep, accurate and precise imaginations are having better conversion of things to the actual. But you have to go systematically and have to work for short term goals. Your small success is important to reinforce the imagination.

Mike’s statement is correct. Yes, we can make our own choice for our life and it is better to appreciate/ blame ourselves instead of others for whatever going in life. By recognizing difficult and painful things, we are coming out of our confirmable zone and trying to do better for ourselves. This way we are going to be succeeded in the area where we never dreamt so. The one success can lead you to have more dreams and imagination for next success. This will also keep us motivated and enthusiastic.

Yes, we are the alone source for all situations and conditions of my life. Whatever coming good or bad to me is because of me only. This is a Karma (as per Hindu mythology) and it is proven in my life at very instances. It is my choice to select the priorities of my life. It is my choice to spend my earnings in life style. It is my choice to go for luxurious life or to normal life.

It is me who is categorizing important and urgent priority in my life. And I have to pay for all facitilies I am receiving in my life (Tangible and Intangible).
