Capital Asset Maintenance Programs: Road Maintenance - Describe the objectives of an audit of the effectiveness of the city's pothole repair program and what steps would you take to accomplish those objectives.
The objectives of this audit were to:
1) Determine if the City is adequately protecting its roads as a capital asset and
2) Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the City's Pothole Repair Program
3) Determine the accuracy and reliability of core operational data;
4) Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of current pothole repair operations;
5) Evaluate the pothole repair response time analyzed both by council district and city wide; and
6) Identify best practices used by other government pothole repair operations.
Steps to take to accomplish the above objectives.
