The product of finished goods will depend on the availability of these individual parts that are very much necessary for assembling the final finished product. This is where the forecasting comes into play where we can forecast the demand well in advance to be ready with the supply to fulfill the demand. We must have JIT principles in our production process of the finished goods and hence we need an efficient supply chain to manage the demand for the final finished goods. Hence, this is why the supply chain matters the most in fulfilling the demand of individual parts to assemble the finished product.
