Nuclear Binding Energy:
We know that the Nucleus is made up of the Nucleons which is the Protons and Neutrons. The minimum energy that is required to split the nucleus into Protons and Neutrons. You can also define it as the energy that is created when a part of the total mass of protons and neutrons that combine to form nucleons is converted to energy.
Nuclear Radioactivity:
The Phenomenon of spontaneous emission of highly penetrating radiationssuch as rayas by elements whose atomic number is greater than 82 is called as Radioactivity. This is a inherent capability of heavy atoms.
Radio Decay Process:
It is a process in which a unstable parent nuclei decays into two or more stable daughter nuclei.
This process can occur naturally and artificially . There are three types of Decay processes . Alpha , Beta and Gamma Decay process.
Nuclear Reactions:
When a nucleus of one atom is bombarded with highly energetic subatomic particles like neutrons or electrons, it results in nuclear reactions wherein a large amount of heat energy is released . The Nuclear reactions are of two types . One is Nuclear Fusion ( Two lighter nuclei combine to form a heavy nuclei) and Nuclear Fission ( A heavy nuclei splits into lighter nuclei) .
Hope this Helps!!
