The care by a person of ordinary prudence would use in order to avoid injury to him or others under various circumstances. You may be noted that the person whose conduct and sets the standard are usually not the extraordinarily cautious individual and also they do not have an exceptionally skilful one, but a person of reasonable and ordinary prudence. Any person can be sued for negligence which may or may not be linked with the healthcare field.

Any person may be sued for any negligence, if someone causes an injury to another person while operating any motor vehicle. In case of any guest is injured on someonce property, the owner of the property will be sued for negligence.

If a nurse has been lawsuit for injuring t patient, while she or he was on the duty, such types of cases come under the negligence. Sometimes nursing malpractice also has been observed and found accused of doing something that inflicted injury to a patient.

There are some legal requirements for practice in nursing which can be describing the minimum acceptable nursing care. A good knowledge and good skill must be possessed which will be used by nurses actively practicing the profession. There are some standards parameters in the nursing practice such as education, responsibility, requirements etc. should be strictly followed to void the negligence.

Quasi-intentional Tort:

The wrongful act by the nurses which can be based on speech committed by any person or entity against another person that causes mental and economic harm or bad reputation. In sort a defamation of character or an invasion of privacy. Healthcare department should not disclose the patients information’s to others. They should not release of a patient's medical information to an unauthorized person like any member of the family, to any press, patients employer etc. The medical information’s of the all the patients should be kept secrets.
