Discuss elements within Chinese and Japanese society and government (including economic policy) that represent these opposing trends and their future implications
Interwar uears were most interesting which witnessed China Japan wars as well as India Pakistan breakup.
The entire focus was between US, European Nations and Japan. Tjis led isolation of countries in East Asia like Thailand, Hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Bangladesh. These led with stiff challenges like lack of donestic and foreign investment and slow growth as well as lack of globalization due to geopolitical risks.
However this resulted in huge opportunity to grow domestic sectors and improve cost advantages with domestic specialization and growing employments. Also this led to political stability and mass movements to bring economy to newer heights and end communism and bring democracy . Moreover it presented huge opportunities for companies to have long stability in doing businesses and focus on nations GDP with high consumption high production models specifically in India.
