with examples what are the difference between social episode and verbal episode?
Social episode refers to interaction between people in a society. This social episode is predictable. People behave in a certain ways in their surroundings. People interact with a reoccurring manners in the society. People's daily communication and daily lives have reoccurring features and this is called social episodes. By its name we can understand that social episode has an episode. In other words we can say that people daily routine goes in a chain. For example kids go in school and they interact in a certain way. Same thing happens in office, college, temple, church or other social centers. People's daily routine run in a chain. There are some components of social episodes, these include- cultural patterns, social roles, interaction rules etc. cultural patterns refers to some certain patterns of what the people should do.
Verbal episode is different from
social episode, it is related to verbal behavior. Verbal refers to
the words which can be used in communication. In other words we can
say that verbal episodes is expressed in words, it can be spoken or
written. So we can understand that social episode is related to
people's daily routine lives, while verbal episode is related to
some language. Only communication comes under verbal episode,
either written or spoken.
