How do you think managing people has changed locally as a result of the pandemic?

As result of the pandemic, managing people is bound to change, where the work arrangements have drastically shifted over the past weeks. With a tottaly different work environment, expecting people to do their jobs with same level of concentration and performance is a challenge. And hence people are finding it harder and harder to get things done-

• Defining urgency, prioritizing wisely and providing back-up are some effective ways to manage people efficiently.
• Recognition and embracing the connection between work and family,
• Regularly assessing how the people are doing is another important aspect.
• Open and clear communicatiion with everyone.
• Unleasing poeple's creative energy and challenging employees to reimagine traditional processes.
• Conducting video meetings/ conferences that support positive experience for the employees has become a necessity for the people managers.
• Need of effectve goal setting (SMART Goals) by the people managers for all its employees.
