The Founding Father and The First President of United States , George Washington was a great leader , the life of George Washington was devoted for the libraty and rights of the people , any American can not soon forgotten him , American people continue to honor him as a president as a the leader after more then 200 year he left the office , this shows his impact which he had on American history and culture.
Part of the significant legacy he left behind was advice he gave us on farewell address which appeared in a Philadelphia Newspaper on 19th Sept 1796.this document sets the foundation and shows us the way in which we should move forward as a nation . This handwritten document is still as relevant today as it was at that time,we can found solutions of too many current problems of our country from this address because central message of Washington's farewell adress was a Unity and as a united country we can achieve any goal.
In his farewell address he talked about The Preservation of Union . He warned against the sectionalism. he advised we should not focus on interest that only benefits to certain group or people.American civil war was the greatest example for this.
