The company's IT department wants to maximize the processing power of RACK for servers (the type of sheet metal cabinet in which servers are housed). The RACK they have is 120 cm high and houses three types of server: A 35 cm high, B 25 cm high and C 40 cm high.

The processing power of the server is expressed by the speed of processing the commands. The processing power of the available servers is 1 million commands / second for server A, 1.8 million commands / second for server B and 2.3 million commands / second for server C. The processing power of RACK is obtained as the sum of the processing power of all hosted servers .

a) Define the effects for each of the servers A, B and C, and form a mathematical model of resource allocation that would maximize the processing power of RACK.

b) Determine the optimal server scheduling plan. What is the total processing power of RACK in that case?

c) If it is necessary to place fans in the RACK, which occupy 20 cm in height, what would the new optimal plan look like?
