• Conversation analysis basically focuses on the casual Conversation of everyday life.

In other hand, Discourse Analysis is focuses on so many approaches such as written analysis, Vocal or symbol language uses Etc.

• In the Conservation Analysis, the importance of language is stated as the design of verbal expression and also it analyzes someone’s location by the casual conversation and social Interaction.

In other hand, discourse Analysis is much broader than Conversation Analysis, Discourse analysis don’t have any technical boundaries or restrictions.

• Conservation Analysis is basically a study of the Social Interaction.

   Discourse Analysis is taking part in the variety of aspects such as Humanities, Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Psychology, Anthropology, Communication researches, Biblical Studies etc.

Which is the most effective?

After comparing and discussing both of the analysis method, we can conclude that Discourse Analysis is more effective.

Discourse analysis focuses on so many approaches such as written analysis, Vocal language analysis, and symbolic language analysis. So this analysis is more significant rather than Conversation analysis. Because, Conversation analysis only focuses on the casual everyday Conversation. So we can say that, Discourse Analysis is more effective approach than Conversation Analysis.

Discourse analysis is not restricted in technical boundaries. The uses of Discourse analysis are broader.

Not only that, Discourse Analysis is taking part in so many subjects such as Humanities, Social Studies, Social psychology, Anthropology etc, while Conversation Analysis is taking part only the subject Social Interaction.

So after discussing all the aspects, we can say that Discourse Analysis has much broader functions in the field of Analysis. So it can be said that Discourse analysis is more effective.
