who are the key stakeholders and why in a community where amphetamine use is increasing and abused
Some of the key stake holders in a community where amphetamine use is increasing are as follows:
Amphetamine users: The users themselves are key stakeholders as they are the one who need to be identified by the other stakeholders, so that the problems of these persons are known to them and better ways of curbing this menace can be employed.
Social Workers: Community based social workers or psychiatric social workers who have expertise in the problems of substance abuse are very important, as they can reach out to the amphetamine abusers and identify and diagnose them of their problem and help them through rehabilitation and counselling.
Psychiatrist and Psychologist: Psychiatrist and psychologist could further help these persons with de-addiction therapy, medications, group therapy and conduct psychiatric/psychological tests on them.
Local government officers and Police: The local government officers have to identify the reasons why this abuse is being happening and with the help of police, the people who are creating this problem could be identified stopped.
Pharmacists: The pharmacists are the ones who provide the patients or other people with amphetamine medications. The pharmacist play a major role in providing these people with amphetamines.
