a)for first quartile

there are 28 samples we arrenge it in ascending order and divide it in two equal parts from center parts then we get 14 samples in each part. the median of the first 14 sample gives the first quartile .so

Q1=(11+12)/2=11.5

third quartile ,the median of last 14 sample willl gives us the third quartile

Q3=(19+19)/2=19

interquartile range =Q3-Q1=19-11.5=7.5
