Structure your yardstick report as follows:

  1. Introduction. Open with the purpose for the report and explain how the report is organized.
  2. Problem statement. Describe the background, problem, or need.
  3. Solutions and alternatives. Explain possible solutions and alternatives.
  4. Established criteria. Establish criteria for comparing the alternatives; explain how the criteria were selected or developed.
  5. Compare alternatives. Discuss and evaluate each alternative in terms of the criteria. Use a table for comparison.
  6. Conclusions and recommendations. Draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  7. References. Include the sources you used in a references section at the end of the report.

Introduction

In a yardstick,we /the company facing a dilemma,because the company derives several solution for the single problem,but the company can difficult to arise a single solution for the problem.In this condition we are preparing a yarstick report for the solution,with a standard measurements,comparisons or various judgements.We assume that our company name is 'X',producing perishable produtcs like coll drinks,fibre juices,ice creams etc.This is a start up firm ,so the profit making will be very slowly,not a smooth reach of market and customers.So company now facing a product acceptance issue,because several cpmpetiotors are here.So company planning to do advertisement.

Problem Statement

In this case company can arise different medium of advertisements.So facing a problem according to the selection of various alternatives of advertisements,Evaluation will be difficult.Differnet alternatives are;

  • Internet Advertisements
  • Radio Advertisements
  • Print ads
  • News paper Ads
  • Tv ads

Solution And Alternatives

Internet Advertisements

Internet advertisements can reach large number of people and cost will be affordable according to the nature of advertisements.

Radio advertisements

Radio ads are comparitively cheap in the cost,but onlycan reach the specific georaphical area,that is a challenge.

Print ads

In this case we are also facing reaching of adertisements

News paper ads

It will also same as the news paper ads.

Tv Ads

Tv ads are very costly,but it can reach the vast number of people and it leads to wide acceptance of our product.But in this situation of a firm we can't use tv ads,we cant spent such a large amount of money at this time.

Conclusion

Conclusion of this report was we were use internet ads as an adertisement.Because it has affordable cost and acceptance of a product purpose will reach.Current condition of the company Is well set for internet ads ,in future comapny can earn more money or profit than now,then we will use tv ads for the grant promotion of our products.But now we use internet ads
