Below are the few reason why we may want to change the process type on shop floor.

  1. In order to give more safety and work satisfaction to employee, process type have to be changed. Giving more safety and satisfaction enhances the motivation in the employee and labours at workplace.
  2. To reduce the waste cost, errors, and defects. Process types have to be changed in a shop floor. Change in process type will reduce the waste cost, reduce or eliminate the errors and defects which eventually enhances the company profits and quality work output.
  3. To make the organization attractive so to enhance the brand image of the organization, there might be a necessity of changing the process type on shop floor.
  4. To upgrade in the field of technology and digitalization, process type change is needed in the shop floor in order to use the upgraded technology and softwares.
  5. To increase the productivity and overall efficiency of the organization, we need to change the process type in the shop floor operational area.
