In lab this semester, we have examined several cellular molecules and activities including, but not limited to, cyclosis in Elodea, Protein concentration in various food sources, bovine serum albumin and the relationship between protein concentration and absorbance, Betacyanin and membrane permeability, B-galactosidase and enzyme function, yeast cell growth, and RNA production in cells.
Describe how one of more of the databases/programs utilized in this lab exercise (pBLAST, PDB, DeepLoc, KEGG) could be used to gain information about one of these processes or molecules. Be specific and explain your answer.

According to the given question-
The database that are present in the domain have different types of information such as
PDB- also called protein data bank and this have all the information regarding the proteins such as their amino acid sequence, their 3 dimension structure, the source of protein from where it was obtained as well as for the nucleic acid as well as some complex structure.
pBLAST- it is a Basic Local Alignment Search Tool used for the protein as well as nucleotide query and find the similarity between the sequence.
DeepLoc- it is a tool used for the localization of proteins or also called proteomics that are present inside the cell of eukaryotic cell. the protein can be localized which are present in Cell membrane, Nucleus, Endoplasmic reticulum, Cytoplasm, Extracellular proteins, Chloroplast, Mitochondrion as well as Mitochondrion and easily can differentiate between the protein type of these cellular proteins.
KEGG- also termed as Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes, this database is used to get information regarding the function of biological system, about the cell, organism , ecosystem from the study about the genes and their genome because the database is created by genome sequencing.
So suppose we want to study about the bovine serum albumin then we have to first go through the PDB then we can easily get the information about their amino acid sequence, their 3 dimensional structure as well as related information and if we want to compare it with the some given sequence we use pBLAST tool. the other experimental study can also be done by using specific tools or databases given in the question.
