Business Plan question

In 2017, 42 children died of heat stroke strapped in their car seats after the drivers forgot that the children were in the vehicle, and the driver exited the vehicle.

One death is one too many.

A possible solution- a car seat with the nanotechnology that communicates through an application to the caregivers' phone(s). The seat contains nanotechnology that activates on weight and monitors the interior temperature. If, God forbid, the child has been left unnoticed in the car seat, a 911 signal dispatches through the transponder when the interior temperature rises above 80 degrees and/or the child has not been removed more than 30 minutes after the ignition has been deactivated.

Question- Please develop a possible Income Statement model scenario for this product.

Expert Solution

It is very unfortunate that cases are come in notice that children are left alone in car with glass and door closed which make the entire car interior a airtight jar, the car body is so strong that even adult unable to break without proper tool when it comes to infant everything left on god.

Lets come to the point, the possible solution given are the car seat should equipped with nano technology that communicate with car giver phone on basis of weight and temperature, Lets take an example a infant is sleeping, Weight of infant might be 3 kg now, in this case it is kind of dead weight. Now just imagine and swap a baby with luggage with same weight. In that case also car seat sensing a weight and car interior temperature or may luggage contain a hot food (or any else non living hot) it may give false alarm to car giver or 911 also nano tech enable seats might be costiler and car manufacturer does not provide the feature in standard model.

My possible solution

If we imagine the above scenario a sleeping infant (i take infant as example because it may be worst case that they cannot express their feeling and cannot speak) will feel uncomfortable and start movement as temperature rises, so now we may notice a few situation like movement happen in closed car, ignition is off, door is locked and temperature is rising. So as per current available technology a motion sensing device and thermal imaging device might be helpful to combat the situation as these device work together to alert the car owner or vehicle itself equipped with such alarm that alert bypassers.
