8. What are the three managerial roles?
1 Overseeing one vs many activities. If you are an accounting manager you are a functional manager, finance manager you are also a functional manager. if you are a VP you are a general manager because you are then in charge of more aspects. A CEO is a general manager. A general manager is the harder manager to be, the more conceptual skills are to be for the general manager, technical skills are for the functional manager
2 For-profit organizations. These are formed to make money, or profits, by selling products or services. Nonprofits organizations. These are formed to offer services to clients with no profits. Mutual-benefit organization. These are volunteer company which proposes are to advance members

Interpersonal roles, managers interact with people inside and outside their work units. The three interpersonal roles include figurehead, leader, and liaison activities.
Informational roles, managers receive and communicate information with other people inside and outside the organization. The three Informational roles include monitor; disseminator, and spokes person.
Decisional roles, managers use information to make decisions to solve problems or take advantage of opportunities. The four decision-making roles are entrepreneur, disturbance handler, resource allocator, and negotiator
