One of the most powerful and fitting quotes of all time is ‘survival of the fittest’ by Charles Darwin in his evolutionary theory. Although Darwin was trying to prove the fact that only those organisms that are strong enough would be able to reproduce and thrive, it also refers to the concept that those organisms that adopt to themselves to their environment would be able to thrive in those environments. On a social setting for example, when one lives in a multicultural environment, one should be able to adopt and appreciate that environment without moving oneself away from that environment. When one works in a diverse cultural setting, one needs to learn to make oneself fit by mingling and adopting the best practices without trying to prove oneself as superior. This would mean that people who are able to adopt and adjust to the environment whether it’s climate related, work related, people related etc. one would be able to progress and thrive otherwise one would be doomed to extinction.
