Students go to the registrar's office to get details about their grades, their academic and financial records, and their class schedules at the college. Therefore, registrars can handle an immense volume of records, and sometimes staff.

The roles and functions of the registrar's is as follows:

• Act as the member-secretary of the Senate, the board of directors, the academic council and other bodies, bodies, and committees as prescribed in or under the universities Act

• Be the custodian of the documents, the joint seal and any other properties of the university as may be done by the Board of Directors

• Receive concerns and recommendations concerning institutional changes and recommend them for effective action

The virtual activities and communication that can be offered by registration are as follows:

• organize the orientation and training of non-teaching employees in the affiliated colleges and the university.

• Have the right to conclude arrangements, sign contracts and authenticate information on behalf of the university, pursuant to a decision of the university authorities

• Have the power to seek information from the Deans, Finance and Accounts Officer, and any other university official for submission to the State Government and other external agencies in respect of any matter relating to the university.
