Given that,

x = 11.4
σ = 2.8
n = 36
The test statisc z is,
z = (x - ) / ( σ /n)
=( 11.4 - 10) / (2.8 / 36 )
= (1.4 * 36 / 2.8 )
= (1.4*36 ) / 2.8
= 3 .00
Test staistic z is = 3.00
b ) = 120
x = 125.9
σ = 26
n = 26
The test statisc z is,
z = (x - ) / ( σ /n)
=( 125.9 - 120 ) / (26 / 26 )
= ( 5.9 * 26 / 26 )
= ( 5.9*26 ) / 26
= 1.16
Test staistic z is = 1.16
c ) = 18.2
x = 18.88
σ = 4.4
n = 140
The test statisc z is,
z = (x - ) / ( σ /n)
=( 18.88 - 18.2) / (4.4 / 140 )
= (0.68 * 140 / 4.4 )
