reflection on the process of working in a group.
1. What was the situation eg: how did you organize your group to make and/or process decisions?
2. What was your task in the group i.e. what role(s) did you play in the group, and why?
3. What actions did you take in the group? What went well? What could you have done differently, and why?
4. What were some of the results of these actions? What further reflections can you make of these results or outcomes?

I am providing one of the example like I travelled to Romania for transitioning one of the Finance process from Romania Genpact to India Genpact. There are 10 members were working on one process and I was the only who selected for transition. Initially It was very difficult to understand the complete responsibilities performed 2-3 members over there. The process was quite difficult and there is huge dependency with Onsite team. Moreover, there were some conflicts and hesitation from them to teach me the process transparently and fully knowledge transfer. So, it is quite difficult me to perform same time. The purpose was understanding the process and perform activities and the same would be transferred to the team members located in Offshore. I had to spent a lot of time after office work to analyze the process and understand the critical factors and dependency. So initially I tried limiting the dependency and takes the control from them. And makes them comfortable that I can own the task and perform it. It was a very big achievement for me that they are believing on me and helping me have the complete knowledge on the process. This is not because of my hard work but also I spend time with them to understand the process and also understand their personal stuff. As a group member of the team I was always finding myself alone initially. It was first time for me and for them as well that we interacted with each other. So from their side they were having impression that they might have to struggle from start to understand the different process if I take the process from them. I know this is genuine thought that every can create in their mind. But still it was the good part that we understood each other well before we understand the process.

I was a group member from Genpact India team. The Task was to understand the process from onsite team and train the process to Offshore team without any escalation. It was a very difficult task for me. I was new to this process and having some sort of book knowledge. I was doing well in offshore team. But If I talk about my onsite team they advanced not only in the process but also in the system. I was neither doing well in the system not process allocated to me. So I have to play a very vital role over there and spent a lot of time to understand the system, process and the group. Proactively I went them and seat with them to understand the process and in the break time I tried to be closed so that they feel comfortable with me. After office work I spent night time to understand the system with SOPs.

There are many actions I had to take in the group like before travelled to Romania I have ensured that I will understand the process completely and perform the same. Once I have the hands-on experience I would be transitioning to you guys. But as per the plan actions were not going well. Because group of onsite team are not quite comfortable with the new offshore team. They were afraid of losing client confidence on the process. So, they are not ok to transition the process to me. It was not only happened to me only this was also mentioned by other team members who also travelled for transitioning some other process. As far as the process is concerned I had to struggled a lot. Emese, Emil, Ana who all are from my onsite group. Initially it was quite difficult for me understand the process and as well them. But I have understood the process and every day I used to take call and screen sharing session and start the transition over the call. Half of the knowledge I take from onsite team and same deliver to offshore team. There after it was a mess and creates a lot of issues. It could have been better I could have understood the complete process and then start transitioning the same to my offshore group. I had to follow the management instruction so that the offshore group will not have to wait much time to start the work.

Initially there are some escalation was occurred because error done by my offshore team. There after I mentioned them just have brief and still I should have the controls and the quality check before any one submits the response to clients. Gradually I have understood the complete process and slowly I distribute the ownership to some of my colleagues and instruct them to verify and should have the makers and checkers before submitting resolution to clients. It was a great experience and successfully transition the process from onsite group to offshore group and build a very good relationship within us and as well with Onsite team. They are always helpful and whenever we seek any help from them they are always helping us to resolve the issues.
