1. How are pets effected by COVID-19? How can they transmit it to humans?
2. Can you use soap to wash vegetables, what are the cons?
3. Why are “mini” parties not ok?
4. Immune boosting – what does that mean, pros and cons?
1. The fear of pets to human transmission among humans has made them vulnerable to attack by humans. Many were abandoned because of this fear. However, this fear is not completely baseless as a study conducted on this has concluded that cats and tigers can transmit the COVID 19 virus to humans. There were instances where dogs were shot from the fear of getting infected, which is quite baseless as studies have proved that dogs do not transmit the virus.
2. Using soap to wash vegetables is not good to prevent the spread of coronavirus. There is evidence to prove the harmful effects of dish soaps when consumed. These include increased toxicity, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, etc.
3. Mini parties are not okay as they often include close contact gestures; talk, handshakes, hugs, and kisses, which against social/physical distancing law.
4. Immune boosting is increasing the body's ability to fight diseases/pathogens. Vaccines contain antigen to boost the body's immunity by stimulating the production of antibodies against that antigen. Immune boosters like vaccines have many side effects, but it protects us from many epidemics and other contagious diseases. So the pros outweigh the cons.
