I am similar to a scout in following ways:
I am trustworthy: I always tell the truth. I am honest, and keep my promises. People can depend on me.
I am Loyal: I am true to my family, friends, Scout leaders, school, and nation.
I am Helpful: I care about other people. I willingly volunteer to help others without expecting payment or reward.
I am Friendly: I am friend to all. I am brother to other Scouts. I offer my friendship to people of all races and nations, and respects them even if their beliefs and customs are different from my own.
I am Courteous: I am polite to everyone regardless of age or position. I know that using good manners makes it easier for people to get along.
I am Kind: I know there is a strength in being gentle. I treat others as I want to be treated. Without good reason, I do not harm or kill any living thing.
I am Obedient: I follow the rules of my family, school, and troop. I obey the laws of my community and country. If I think these rules and laws are unfair, I try to have them changed in an orderly manner rather than disobeying them.
Some of my differences with scout:
I am always not Cheerful: Contrary to me, a Scout looks for the bright side of life. He cheerfully does tasks that come his way. He tries to make others happy.
I am not Thrifty: Contrary to me, a Scout works to pay his own way and to help others. He saves for the future. He protects and conserves natural resources. He carefully uses time and property.
I am not Brave: Contrary to me, a Scout can face danger although he is afraid. He has the courage to stand for what he thinks is right even if others laugh at him or threaten him.
I am not a Reverent: Contrary to me, a Scout is reverent toward God. He is faithful in his religious duties. He respects the beliefs of others. I just believe in humanity.
