Immigration refers to the international movement of people to many foreign countries due to political, economic, social and cultural reasons where they can settle permanently or temporarily. According to economists, immigration has positive effects on both the countries from where immigrants come and where they move. As lack of employment in developing countries is one of the main reason of maximum immigration, the unemployed people of these countries tend to move in developed countries where they get opportunities to earn their livelihood. So the immigration from developing countries help these countries to lower population pressure from their resources which help the government of these countries to do more public welfare works. On the other hand, people immigrating to foreign countries help their economies to expand by working in low skilled jobs with cheaper rate and contributing to their revenue collection. But off late, immigration has become menace for the developed countries where most of the immigrants come as the utility of resources have surpassed beyond their carrying capacity which is a great threat to these countries. Countries are taking bold steps to prevent illegal immigration so that their natives would not be deprived from their rights. But while implementing strong anti immigration policies, human right activists are fighting for the rights of the immigrants and trying to defend that immigrants should be allowed to live anywhere with dignity as they go through lot of hardships in their lives. The issue of immigration has been addressed by eminent persons in many events. In 1995, the former president of USA said ' All Americans not only in the states most heavily affected but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of aliens entering our country,' The illegal immigration from Mexico in USA, Rohingya of Myanmar into India, Bangladeshis from India etc are causing great threat to the existence of these countries' natives as they are posing much pressure on their land and resources.
The solution of illegal immigration is not easy achieve due to population explosion in developing countries and inequality of resource distribution among all the countries of the world. Providing fund to poor and developing countries by developed countries for the welfare of these countries economies will help in mitigating immigration as people will have the access of resources, education, employment, shelter in their own countries. Generating more and more employment opportunities in developing countries with the help of FDI help poor countries to become economically self sufficient and provide sustenance to their population. Investing more on scientific studies and researches help countries to develop technologies which will help utilise natural resources with maximum output and build substitutes. Besides countries which are facing the immigration issue should strengthen their immigration rules and regulation policies which will prevent people to immigrate in to these countries illegally. Building strong security forces at the border will also help in preventing immigration. Besides all these, world peace is the most prominent solution to prevent immigration as lack of political, economic, religious war will help countries to work for the development of their own communities which will help in reducing illegal immigration.
