1.Using triple beam balance we can measure the mass of an object precisely. We measure the weight of the object by simply adding the values on the three sliders. That is slider value of middle, rear and front beam.
2. First of all move all the three sliders to the far left position, so that the pointer is straight and alligned with central mark on balance. When object is placed , the pointer will be above the central mark.First move the 100 gm slider to the right. if the pointer is still above central mark, continue to move to the right. And when the pointer goes below central mark, then move the slider back to the previous mark on left.
3. In triple beam balance, there are 3 beams.middle beam is the largest, rear beam of medium size and front beam the smallest.Middle beam has 500 gm scale, rear beam has 100 gm scale and the beam located at front has 10 gm scale. So in order to read the weights,we add weight in the order, middle+rear+front.
for example: if the middle beam is in 210 gm notch, the rear is in 10 gm notch and front is in 2 gm notch, then the weight of the object is 210+10+2=222 gm.
