Outline and create a scenario of your own example where you could differentiate SIX (6) views on the concept of sympathy to empathy. Decide which one is harder to comprehend and why?

The scenario I would like to mention would be the recent loss of my relative who was 84 years old.He is now survived by his wife who is 75 years old.Though the loss was not so sudden but I empathised with the old aunty and felt overtly emotionally.Out of sympathy and empathy, I felt empathy more challenging because it resulted similar feelings what might the old partner has felt.I became emotionally vulnerable for some days and met a counsellor to understant and to get over the situation.

Difference between the concept of sympathy to empathy:

Sympathy	Empathy
Based on the concept of sharing. Recognition of situation. 'Sympathy' is when you share the feelings of another sympathy revolves around ‘feelings of pity and sorrow for someone else’s misfortune’ Sympathy involves being judgemental in the situation. One acknowledges another person's circumstances.	Based on the concept of understanding Emotional involvement in the situation Empathy' is when you understand the feelings of another but do not necessarily share them. Empathy revolves around ‘the ability to understand and share the feelings of another’ Empathy is Perspective-taking and Staying out of judgment. One feels in a similar sort of personal experiences.
