Discus why you need to apply improvements for the process before automating it?
Automating process produces an outcome and that is expected to be the final manufactured products considered to the purpose of selling. Before automating any process, it is mandatory to verify the steps to be followed. The correct analysis has to be made on plans, procedures, decision-making steps, availability of raw materials, worker's skills, experiences to perform the task, and active functioning of machinery. Based on the analysis; it is necessary to identify the weakening areas and the errors need to correct before final proceedings. To run the process of automating, it is to ensure that all the affected areas related to the work procedures are successfully corrected and structured for obtaining better results.
If the improvement is not done then the chances of failure may result to affect the entire task or can destroy the production process. The cost or the expenses made for conducting the automating process will not result to achieve worth results. It will lead to having major loss as the automating process cannot be stopped or recovered after its initiation in any way. The client delivery may be delayed because it will require reconstructing the entire task from the beginning phase. The complete process will get hampered and the recovery of the system may lead to incurring a heavy financial loss. Also, the work activities may be slower and the client’s dissatisfaction will lose the reputation of the company.
Therefore, it is to make sure that before automating of process, the improvement has to be done and validation is likely to be made. The effective outcome will surely obtain and the purpose of driving the automating process must be fulfilled correctly.
