what is meant by "communications" and, more specifically what we mean when we talk about Business communications. You might talk about how business communications differs from "social" or other professional communications; you might talk about what you learned from the material, what you agreed with, what you disagreed with, what was missing, why it matters, and so on
Business communications differ from personal or social communications in the sense that it requires a level of knowledge, formal speaking skills as well as clear point of views and necessary values which do not serve as a requirement in other types of conversation. Business conversation can be both formal or informal depending on the situation while other forms of communication are either formal or informal. In other words, it separates the different beliefs and values from the core requirements of the communication in order to. Provide maximum value to the channel of communication.
I do disagree that communication is a one-way channel, business communication are usually open both ways and not just one-sided and also, business communications are formal, which is also not necessarily true.
It matters to the entire business channel which depends upon the values set by the communication and essentially allows the exchange of knowledge, sharing resources etc.
