A) Brief History of Germany
The land that is called Germany was inhabited by Germanic speaking tribes for many centuries. They first became part of the Frankish Empire under the rule of Charlemagne- father of the German monarchy. Many parts of Germany became the Holy Roman Empire. From 1700 to 1918 the kingdom of Prussia was established in Germany. In 1914 World war I happened and Germany did not won the war. It lost 2 million soldiers.
During World War I Germany tried to recover. There was protest and revolution the monarchy collapsed. Under the leadership of Adolf Hitler Germany again rose to power. He created Nazi party which had te regime that German race is a superior race. Hitler became dictator started World war II conquered much of Europe including France. After the War Germany was divided into East Germany and West Germany.
Under Soviet Union East Germany was a communist state under control of the Soviet Union, while West Germany was a free market state. To prevent people from escaping from East Germany to West Germany Berlin Wall was built. The wall was torn down after the collapse of the Soviet Union and communism in 1989. In the year 1990 East ans west Germany again became one country.
B-Ethnic & religious overview
The major religion that most people follow in Germany is Christianity. But, the number that actually goes to church is significantly lower. German christians are split almost evenly. Half of them are from Evangelical Church of Germany and half are Roman Catholic. 2% of the country practise other religions.People following Catholic and Protestantism are in all regions of Germany but religions are more distinct in certain places of Germany. There are more Catholics in South and West of the Country that includes parts of Bavaria, Rhineland, Westphalia and Saarland. Protestant are recognised in the North and East of the country. Islam is one of the most practised non-Christian religion in Germany covering almost about 5% of the total population. They are of Turkish descent mstly and follow a tradition called Sunni. I observed mosques in most major parts of the cities.
There are number of other faiths that together accout for 3-4% of the population.
C-Culture, traditions & languages.
Germany is known for its poets and thinkers. Germans themselves call it Deutschland. The Holy Roman Empire is responsible for shaping the rich history of Germany. It became one of the most stable economies of the world.
Germany is home to 83 million people including Germans and other nationalities. They live harmoniously and respects each other. It makes Germany a nation of unique values, customs and celebrations. Berlin is the capital of Germany, they drink lot of beer they are hardworking and punctual. The rate of unemployment in Germany is very low.
More than 96% of the people in Germany speak the German language, sometimes it can be standard Germany or any of its dialects. The other languages that are also recognized are Upper and Lower Sorbian, Romani, Danish, North and Saterland Frisian.
The lenguages spoken by immigrants are Turkish, Kurdish, Russian, Greek, Albanian, Polish.
D-Labor market -- what do people do for a living?
Germany is facing economic boom. From the year 2012 until 2017 alone the number of people in gainful employment rose by 2.88 million to 32.16 million which created a record. The most frequent jobs in Germany are Software developer and Programmer, Electronic engineer, electrician, Healthcare worker and nurse, IT consultant, IT analyst, Economist, Business administrator, account manager, production assistant.
The Fedaral Government is implementing specific ImmigrationAct for foreign qualified professionals. It will make easier for internatioal applicants to look for a job in Germany. There is a shortage of around 5,000 doctors in German hospitals and medical practices. As of 2012 anyone with a foreign degree in medicine can receive licence to practice in Germany. For mechanical engineering professionals there are excellent opportunities.

I evaluted my report by looking at the data of Accor Hotels.
The hospitality industry in Germany is growing and dynamic. With the increase in number of tourist arrivals the hospitality industry is projected to grow in future. Travelers from abroad spent more than 40 million nights in the coutry during the first half of 2019, which was 3% more when compared to the same period in 2018 according to Germany's Federal Statistical Office.
Domestic Tourism is also increasing at the same time. In first half of 2019 the overall overnight stays by Germans within their home contry rose by 4% around 182 million as compared to the same period in 2018.
Germany hs also been recording increasing number f leisure trips and business trips. The coutry is a home to a large number of independent hotels with more than 20,000 hotels that perform independently and cover all segments. The brands that are international have their footprints in all the leading destinations with a large number of rooms. They also have presence in the tier II cities with great market coverage.
