After asking my classmate I came to know that :-
My classmate begin to develop self concept at Early childhood.
The self concept includes the attributes and abilities which define
their identity. At age of 3, he develop categorical self which is a
solid way to seeing themselves. Let's take an example :- at this
age children distinguish them on their physical appearance like
both or girl, short other tall etc.
As the memories of children's develop they start obtaining the
remembered self. This remembered self create memories which help
them to retain things in their mind.
Usually, young children are optimistic and positive, they have desire to learn new and different things it is because they have achievement related attribution. Such attribution comes from school, friends and family members. Self concept is an idea how children perceive or evaluates themselves.
Factors that influence my classmates development are
:-
1) Friends (peer) - Friends are the most important factors that help in making understand the concept of self in children. They share everything about them with friends and know more about them.
2) Culture - cultural beliefs plays an important role in development of self concept among children.
3) Family - Family is the most important part of every child because they spend most of time with them. They help them to understand the meaning of self concept.
4) Age - As the age increases the child learn
a
More about themselves.
5) Gender - Gender help the child to distinguish himself or herself to know better.
