Primary data is defined as one that is collected by the investigator or researcher on his own for a specific purpose. For example, data collected by a student himself for the purpose of completing his research project or thesis is primary data. On the other hand, Secondary data is defined as the one that was collected by someone else for some other purpose and used by another party. For example, using data or a survey of someone else's to be included in the research project of a student is secondary data. Primary data is more reliable and trustworthy than secondary data. Also, primary data is preferred over secondary data unless otherwise.
Marketing MEMO is defined as a document that is used for the purpose of communicating the news, issues, and solutions within the company or agency for official use. An effective MEMO should be clear, precise, and informative in nature. It could be short or lengthy depending on the intended party for which it is created. It is because management may not be having enough time to go through a detailed one and employees may not understand a short one.
