From the Thinking Errors section of Chapter 6, describe two thinking error patterns or irrational thoughts that you commonly notice about yourself. Explain how you could change that way of thinking to a more effective and rational way of thinking.
Blaming - When some misfortune or something bad happens to oneself, people can start blaming others for it. In my job, when something goes wrong, i have made it a habit to instantly blame it on others so that i do not feel guilty. This behaviour can be changed when we realize that something we did not want to happen can be caused by us roo, and accepting the fact that i have done a mistake and not blame it on others
Fallacy of Fairness - This a common fallcy where people think that the world is a fair place and if we do something good then we will be rewarded and vice versa. I also behave well with people and treat everyone fairly, and expect that nothing bad happens to me, but often times unexpected bad things happen which causes distress. This cognitive error can be addressed by accepting that the world is not fair after all, and doing good does nor guarantee that good things will happen in return
