Why is it so important for a manager to give his or her employees intrinsic rewards?
Intrinsic rewards: It is a reward that comes
from within the employee. It is an intangible award of recognition,
and if you want the engagement of the employee than you have to
provide the intrinsic rewards. It is very important for a manager
to give his or her employees intrinsic rewards because there are a
lot of benefits of intrinsic rewards:
• If managers give intrinsic rewards to his employee than their
employees are trying to do more creative in the workplace.
• If a manager gives intrinsic rewards to his employee than their
employees will be capable of doing tasks efficiently and
effectively.
• Motivation requires more than money so managers need to provide
intrinsic rewards so that their employees get motivated.
• With the help of intrinsic rewards, the organization productivity
and performance should be increased.
• If intrinsic rewards are given to the employees so that they are
trying to do some extra work apart from their roles.
