With COVID-19, how does the fact that the Army Corps of Engineers building better and more improved medical clinics economically impact the United States economy?

With the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, every country is facing the crisis of economic shut down . The working class of every sector and class are instructed to stay in and practice social distancing. The only working masses are those of administrative class, making sure rules and regulations are followed by masses, and the medical experts. The subset of administrative workers are the Army and the police. The need of the hour is not just prevention but cure also. COVID-19 virus is a fast spreading virus, which took down the world in a very short span of time. The cure is must.

Army corps of engineers are working on designing improved medical clinics. Let us understand the economics behind it:

1.Building Cost :

The building of new containments will cost the economy on grounds of building of new chambers, using new and better techniques and equipments to be installed in the chambers. To build them, land is lend by the Govt. avaoiding delay and repulsion from common masses , which could not be the case if land is aquired by the people. (
Although incase of emergency, some land may be aquired).

2. Processing cost :

The working of hospitals require better and trained doctors. This wil not only be hard to find, but doctors of such high skill set will demand more money as theya re dealing with something so volatile . In addition the cost of helpers and nurses to assist the working is also added.

3.Dealing with disposal:

If the patients are hospitalised in such high class care, the disposal is to be dealth with utmost precaution , else the damage will not contain.

These are some basic concerns regarding the working and facilitations economics which goes onto building a high class ward. The expense is born by the economy of US , as the govt. will extract the costing via taxes or other ways from people only.

In addition to the expense, due to lack of people's trust in the sinking market, the US govt. looses on investments, both foreign and domestic. The demand is decresed, economy suffers. Eg. the sinking cost of crude oil.
