Questions
6. The issue of multiculturalism and cultural harmony is the main public agenda in Canada. The Canadians are very proud for their multiculturalism. They live in harmony and there people belonging to different religions are free to preserve their own culture. Such harmony in cultures is the main issue and public agenda in Canada.
7. There are people belonging to various religions in Canada. But the main religious groups are Christians, Judaism and Islam. It appears that orthodox attitudes make them more effective and they are not now more liberal to each other. There appears a kind of disharmony in the orthodox Christians, Judaism and Islam.
There are many reasons behind such problems. People are not so respectful to other's religion. Sometimes they mock other religions through literature and earth. Even cultures of various religions are also criticized by other religions.
8. In Canada women are equally treated. There is no gender discrimination. But in the religious institutions such discrimination is maintained. Space for prayer has been given to all the religious people. But in Islam and Judaism men and women are separated there in case of prayer and women face unequal treatment. It is the violation of law and constitution.
