The sporting or cultural mega event move every year to a new location or to a new city .It is a part of the urban redevelopment scheme.It is an essential part of urban development.The economic impact of mega spoting event attracts many investors and new venues are made for just one major event.Sporting events like Olympic games give a number of opportunities to the host country to boost the local economy.However there are negative impact like displacement on the host country.So this is true.

b)Irrespective of the cost of displacement , the benefits accruing to the host country are immense.Large economic gains are experiencesd as many fans visit the place of the event.The benefits and cost help in measuring the extent of displacement.Displacement  is estimated by the event related changes in the host city. These changes are called event structures like infrastructures,knowledge, culture ,image network ,etc.
