Provide at least a couple of examples (2) to illustrate why you feel Interpersonal Intelligence represents you and describe the situation and how you used this "ability" to complete a task (sports, activities, class projects, work-related, etc.). Reflect upon why this ability/skill best describe your talents.

Interpersonal Intelligence refers to one’s ability to understand, appreciate, and communicate with others effectively by understanding others’ feelings, emotions and needs. It’s also about listening empathetically and put oneself in others’ shoes.

Once we went for an inter-school dance competition where the competition was very tough and had few rounds. We cleared the first two rounds and but in the third round one of our team mates was not able to perform because of a fracture in his ankle. As the leader of the team, I listened carefully to my team mates while understanding the difficulty of my injured friend. We had to practice without a man to complete the performance and go on to win the competition.

Second incident happened while we were working on one of the school projects. I was the team leader there too. Mid way to the competition, we one of my friends didn’t complete his part thus we all ended up in not completing the assigned portion. This led to a conflict among ourselves but I was determined to talk to him and find out the real cause. Later, we found out that his mother was not well and he had to stay with his mother. We encouraged and helped him to complete his part thus completing the entire project on time.

This skills brought out my empathetic listening, understanding others’ point of view and team work abilities.
