with reference to international marketing research, list and describe 4 problems that are associated with gathering primary data.
1. The major problem arises with the problem of communication between respondent and surveyor. The difference in the language is the concern while collecting data in the international market. Also, interpreting the outcome by the concerned authorities is difficult if answers are given different languages.
2. The differences in the culture also a reason behind gathering the primary data in international market. The respondents may not be interested in the questions of surveyor due the differences in culture and their behavior.
3. The personal biasness of the local examiner in the field is also a concern behind the gathering of primary data in international market. The examiner may influence the question or the respondent’s answer according their culture, language and other aspect and therefore, the actual answer may get influenced and the main purpose of survey could not be completed properly.
4. Determining the interested groups in the international market and dividing the group according to the research questions or purpose is also a concern because to gather appropriate information about the population size, division of population on various aspect etc is difficult.
