Expert Solution

Traditional shopping centre will be under threat from online business to consumer development because it will be offering consumer with saving their time as well as saving their cost because these online companies are disrupting the business of malls which are generally dependent upon the physical interaction between the the customer and the sales representative whereas online business is directly interaction of business with the customer through technologies and they will be delivering the the products directly to their homes in order to save the time and save the cost and increase the efficiency of the overall procedure.

This is a problem for the operators of shopping centre and local communities because they are under high threat of substitution by these online retailers because these online retailers are acquiring a large market share and people are currently trying to save their money and save their time so they do not want to visit the local stores and shopping mall as they are more like physical interaction with customers so customers are more product centric and they are wanting quality and they want savings of the time and the money so operators of these traditional shopping centres are highly under threat.

operators of these traditional shopping centre should be trying to enhance their business structure and they will be trying to include the digitalization in their overall business proceedure and delivering their products online and they will be accepting the orders online in order to get acclimatized toto the current situations and they will be trying to accommodate the needs of the consumer and acting upon the changing dynamic environment so they will be able to retain their customer base.
